We're going green!

A 2-minute read

Many businesses across Wales got the green light to reopen on Monday.

We were delighted to welcome people, albeit safely and strictly following the Government guidelines, to our office for the first time in more than three months.

And it's not the only shade of green we welcomed this week.

As part of our commitment to the environment and sustainability, we're introducing greener ways of running our business.

That's starting with the introduction of our 'Green Goddess' – no, we're not going all 1980s retro and exercising in bright lycra (Google Diana Moran if that reference has left you scratching your head).

The LL Estates’ green goddess doubles up as a green machine – it's a fully electric-powered Mini that will reduce our carbon footprint.

We're also installing recycling procedures, looking at low energy lighting for the office and other ways to help the planet.

As a mum to a young child, I realise we all need to do our bit to protect our environment for future generations. It's something all our team are fully supportive of.

Reopening

On Monday, we celebrated the reopening of our office as did other businesses across the area.

I felt there was a real buzz about the town and the people I spoke with seemed optimistic.

Talking of optimism, I feel positive about the property market locally over the next couple of years.

We're currently seeing properties sell quickly and for over the asking price.

I think the reason behind this is that people have been in lockdowns of some description for so long that many of them are viewing their homes in different ways than they did previously.

Some want a bigger garden or a smaller mortgage, or to be closer to loved ones or simply have more living space.

This is driving the busy period we've experienced the last six months or so.

There are plenty of serious buyers out there right now looking for new homes.

This makes it a perfect time to put your home on the market.

If you are thinking of moving or just curious about your home's value in the current market, feel free to get in touch with us.

We promise a level of service that leaves our rivals green with envy. (See what we did there).
